All About Jackson

From the shores of Eastern North Carolina, Jackson Wyatt Phillips began his performing arts journey at the age of 7, training daily at the North Carolina Academy of Dance Arts. There, he received extensive training in various dance styles, with a strong focus on Ballet, eventually joining their pre-professional program at 12.

After years of refining his dance technique, Jackson decided to broaden his artistic horizons by studying Theatre at Texas Christian University (TCU), where he expanded his training to include a variety of acting styles, combining his dance background with new performance skills and mediums. While at TCU, he performed in several theatre and film productions around the DFW area, including Such a F*cking Poet (Student Film by Christina Phillips), A Chorus Line (Theatre Arlington), and Matilda (Granbury Theatre Company), further honing his versatility as a performer.

In May, Jackson graduated TCU with his BFA in Acting and moved to Charleston, SC, where he has been preparing to make the big move to NYC come January.
